Registration closes for EUSA Chess Championship 2019

Registration has closed for the EUSA Chess Championship 2019. The event will be held from 24th to 28th July at the University of Physical Education, Budapest.

 

A total of 18 universities from 13 European countries have registered for the men’s chess competition where a total of 40 participants are expected to turn up. The United Kingdom and Hungary will be represented by 3 universities, whereas France will have two universities competing, respectively.

 

As for women’s chess competition, a total of 7 universities will be present from 5 countries including Poland, Russian Federation, Turkey, Kosovo and Hungary. Poland and Hungary will be represented by two universities, respectively. The total number of women chess players is expected to be 14.
